Initially named Familitex – Tinturaria e Acabamentos, Lda, in 2018 the company acquired a facility in Famalicão to begin the construction and development of a greenfield dyeing plant. However, after the opportunity arose to purchase an existing dyeing facility in Barcelos, it was decided not to build a new plant in Famalicão and instead proceed with the purchase of the existing dyehouse. With the acquisition of the dyehouse in 2019, Familitex – Tinturaria e Acabamentos changed its mission, vision, values, and existing policies to align with its own principles, and the company was renamed Barceltinge – Tinturaria, Lda, rebuilding the business and adjusting the target markets. The company develops specific operational strategies focused on customer needs, producing high-quality work that aims to exceed expectations.
