Description:

CARVEMA TÊXTIL is a company with over 40 years of existence dedicated to the dyeing and finishing of knits. CARVEMA employs more than 150 workers and has an actual capacity of 15 tons/day of finished knit fabric. It has a variety of knitting dyeing and finishing machines that provide great versatility in treating a wide range of items, from traditional fibers such as cotton and polyester to more delicate fibers such as polyamides, regenerated cellulose fibers, and their blends with elastane, etc. In terms of knit finishing, it is equipped with carding, sanding, laminating, raising, and open compaction machines. This enables it to process virtually all types of items and achieve a wide variety of knit appearances. The Chemical Laboratory supporting the dyeing department and the development of new colors has an average capacity of 300 tests per day. Regarding quality control, CARVEMA has a physical laboratory that supports production control and performs the final quality control of items concerning various parameters requested by clients, both physical (weight/m², dimensional stability, pilling, etc.) and chemical (colorfastness to washing, water, acidic and alkaline sweat, friction, etc.). CARVEMA has held a Quality Certificate according to the ISO 9001 Standard since 1993. It is also certified under the Oeko Tex Standard 100, Class I, thus meeting the human-ecology requirements for items in contact with the skin, including baby products. Since 1988, CARVEMA has prioritized environmental responsibility as a competitive factor, establishing its own Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETAR) in 1992, and in recent years has been fully complying with all environmental standards.
