Elmate was founded in 1988 by its current managing partner, Abilio Pereira, and after weathering many economic crises, it is today established in the market and recognized by the most demanding clients in the mid/high and high fashion segments. The personal experience combined with the knowledge of this entrepreneur has allowed the company to evolve and specialize in the creation and production of high-quality knitted fabrics, applied to women’s, men’s, children’s, and home apparel. Continuous investments in technical innovation and service quality optimization allow the company to achieve its main goal: creating products that meet market demands. Elmate has a state-of-the-art machine park (Shima and Stoll) ranging from gauge 3 to 16, with a focus on using high-quality raw materials sourced from the best Italian spinners. Every day, ideas from clients across various areas and markets—from France to Finland, including Iceland, the United Kingdom, the USA, and more—are brought to life here.
