Herculano & Pimenta Lda was founded in 1963, acquiring the “Fábrica do Minhoto” and its long-standing textile tradition, quickly establishing itself as a leading exporter of cotton textiles and fabrics. With the globalization of international markets in the 1980s, the company became a pioneer in partnerships in Asia and consequently a leader in introducing a wide range of textile commodities to Portugal. In the 1990s, its market experience and knowledge allowed the development of strong partnerships in the finishing and printing industry, leveraging its technology to offer a fast and differentiated supply to the European market. In the 21st century, workwear production became a reality, adopting demanding standards in design, pattern-making, and modeling. The company’s focus shifted to partnerships within the garment industry and the revitalization of the HERPI brand. HERPI uniforms reflect extensive experience in fabrics and knits, dyeing, and finishing, showcasing modern modeling and design techniques, as well as the continuous technical evolution of the textile sector.
