Description:

We are now the fifth generation of our family working in home textiles. Our founder and CEO, Joaquim Ferreira, began his journey at a young age. Growing up in a small rural town, Joaquim was able to engage closely with nature and learn simple habits, such as cultivating his own crops. This experience connected him to his land and made him aware of the surrounding environment and the importance of organic ingredients. Our responsibility is to leverage our past to build a better present and future, following the legacy of our founder. Our focus is on maximizing creativity for the future, while our design research remains grounded in experience and tradition. We take pride in being pioneers in traceability, leading the way in communicating the journey and origin of our products to customers. Through a strong partnership with CITEVE, we conduct extensive research and foster innovation. Our most recent work focuses on developing new communication methods to demonstrate that all materials used in our products, from yarn to final product, are fully traceable. Our collaboration with Belda Llorens in the Re-Trace Collection reinforces this commitment, representing a significant first step in our pursuit of traceability. Through this initiative, we aim to build trust and empower customers to make informed decisions, connecting them to the ethical and sustainable practices behind each price. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We focus on durable design to ensure our products are made for reuse, repair, and longevity, thereby reducing waste and promoting a circular economy. By prioritizing eco-friendly and innovative materials such as linen, cotton, wood, and recycled resources, we minimize environmental impact while delivering high-quality natural products. Our health-conscious approach ensures that all items are free from single-use plastics and harmful chemicals. Combined with ethical manufacturing practices that prioritize worker well-being, our efforts contribute to a greener planet and a more responsible future for generations to come.
