Description:

MEHLER’s engineered fabrics cover the full spectrum of technical textiles. Our fabric solutions are based on industry-proven yarns, engineered fabric constructions, custom finishes, treatments, and coatings, as well as individualized fabric dimensions. The product portfolio of MEHLER’s technical fabrics is highly diverse. These products are used across a wide range of applications, with most fabrics tailored to meet the specific needs of particular processes and end uses. Engineered fabrics are often used to reinforce Mechanical Rubber Goods (MRG). In a fabric/rubber composite structure, the textile fabric provides essential properties such as tensile strength and stiffness. The use of fabric is what ensures the long-term durability of the final product. To achieve the necessary level of adhesion between the fabric and rubber, we treat our fabrics with RFL (resorcinol formaldehyde latex) or, alternatively, with our RF-free solution, Mehler Sustain Adhesive (MSA). Other end applications require different types of finishing. MEHLER’s customers expect the highest product quality and punctual delivery of our engineered fabrics. Meeting these requirements involves managing multi-stage processes, including texturizing, twisting, warping, weaving, treatment or coating, calendering, cutting, and laboratory testing. We are ideally positioned for these tasks because we control and manage the entire value chain internally.
