The ZDHC Program was launched in 2011 through the collaboration of six major brands in the textile industry, aiming to enhance the protection of consumers, manufacturers, and the environment by gradually eliminating the use of hazardous substances.
With its holistic approach, ZDHC focuses not only on the finished product but also on production processes and the quality of effluents, establishing Input, Process, and Output controls. This approach highlights the importance of protecting consumers, workers along the supply chain, and the environment.
ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) is a global organization promoting the progressive elimination of hazardous chemicals in the textile industry. Its goal is to ensure that no harmful chemicals are discharged into the environment. Updating ZDHC certification is a rigorous process that guarantees products meet ZDHC regulatory requirements and MRSL standards.
