Merch vs uniforms

Merch to sell or give away, not to work in

Merch is promotional or retail: a drop, a tour, a launch or an event. Clothes your staff wear to work are uniforms, with their own page and their own fabrics.

  • Brand merch drops: your own cut, fabric and label, not a printed blank
  • Bands and creators: tour and store merch made to your spec, with print or embroidery
  • Corporate and event merch: tees, hoodies and polos with your logo for teams and events
  • Staff clothing for work? See our uniform and workwear page

Where it’s made

Where merch is made

Merch is mostly jersey, fleece and knit, so it is made in the same northern towns as t-shirts and knitwear, close to the mills that supply the fabric.

How it works

How a merch order runs

  1. Send your brief

Pieces, quantities, colours, artwork and your date. Free, reply within 24 hours.

  2. Designer sketching technical flats in a notebook

    Lock the spec

Measurements, fabric and print or embroidery placement decide the quote. No tech pack? Ours costs €79, ready in 3–5 working days with 2–3 revision rounds.

  3. Placed with a partner factory

We place each piece with a Portuguese partner factory suited to it, and our team manages it from sample to delivery. Our fee is quoted in writing before any work starts, and it never depends on order size.

  4. Sample room with rows of sewing machines

    Sample and approve

Around 2 to 3 weeks for a sample. Check the print, the colours and the fit before you approve.

  5. Operator handling finished pieces on a sewing line

    Produce and ship

Around 5 to 7 weeks for t-shirts and hoodies. The partner factory invoices samples and production.
