Our team places and manages your swimwear production with a Portuguese partner factory that sews stretch swim fabrics: swimsuits, bikinis and swim shorts made to your pattern. Minimum, lead time and price are quoted per brief, because fabric, lining and cups move all three. The partner factory invoices production.

Self-lined or fully lined pieces; removable cups and pads specified in your tech pack.
Swim elastic at the edges, zigzag or coverstitch finishes to keep the stretch.
Printed fabric, your woven labels and hygiene liners, quoted per brief.
Photos show stretch-fabric sewing in general, not swimwear from a specific factory.
We don’t publish swimwear minimums, lead times or prices: fabric, lining, cups and print move all of them, so every figure comes in writing with your quote. Our general starting point for cut and sew is 50–100 pieces per style and colour.
Tech pack: €79 per style, 3–5 working days. Our fee is quoted in writing after we read your brief, before any work starts.
Swimwear is stretch cut and sew with less room for error: the fabric, the elastic and the fit on the body decide whether a piece works in the water.
Swimwear at a glance
Swimwear is a small specialty in Portugal. In the 80 makers we documented in October 2026, 2 list swimwear among their products, both alongside sportswear and circular-knit apparel.

Swim fabrics come from specialist mills; availability and minimums depend on the mill.
Expect at least one fit round before production.
We place the order with our swimwear partner and manage sampling, quality control and delivery.
Maker count: PCF’s documented set of 80 Portuguese makers, checked October 2026. It counts what each maker publishes; it is not a list of our partners, and not every partner holds every certificate.

Yes. We place and manage swimwear production with a Portuguese partner factory that sews swimsuits, bikinis and swim shorts to your pattern.
Quoted per brief. We don’t publish a swimwear minimum because fabric, lining and print set it; the partner factory confirms it in writing with your quote. Our general starting point for cut and sew is 50–100 pieces per style and colour.
Quoted per brief. Plan for fit rounds before production, and brief us well ahead of a summer launch date.
Chlorine resistance and recycled content are fabric choices. Name them in your brief and we confirm availability with the mill; a recycled claim needs a certificate such as GRS.
Only with a test that backs it, such as UV Standard 801. The test is done on the fabric or garment by an accredited lab; it is not a PCF certification.
Other is already ticked: write swimwear in the next step. Choose a quantity and continue, it takes two minutes.
