What is the minimum order for knitwear in Portugal?

Knitwear in our group starts from 100 units per colorway. Some knitwear specialists ask for 200+, so the Directory tags every factory by MOQ tier and you can skip the ones that won’t fit your volume.

Which yarns can Portuguese knitwear factories work with?

How long does knitwear production take?

Our knitwear benchmark is 5 to 7 weeks of production. Sampling comes first and usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, so start at least 12 weeks before the date you need stock.

What does a knitted piece cost to make?

The cost calculator puts a knit polo at €9–15 per piece ex-factory (300–500 units, mid fabric, standard complexity). Runs of 100–300 units cost more per piece. Sweaters and cardigans are quoted on your tech pack, because gauge and yarn move the price most.

Which certifications do knitwear factories hold?

We route your brief to the factory in our group that knits that gauge and yarn. Our fee is quoted in writing after we read your brief, before any work starts.
Sample and approve
Sampling usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. Check hand-feel, stretch recovery and size on body before you sign off.
Production, billed by the factory
Around 5 to 7 weeks of production. The factory invoices you directly, with no commission on your order.
