Outerwear starts from 100 units per style in our group. Heavier builds sometimes ask for more; the Directory shows each factory’s MOQ.

How much does a jacket cost to make in Portugal?

The cost calculator starts a jacket at €35–75 per piece ex-factory, at 300–500 units with mid fabric and standard complexity. Many panels, fill and technical trims move it up.

How long does outerwear take?

It is one of the longer categories: 8 to 10 weeks of production after a 2 to 3 week sample round. For an autumn drop, brief us at least 12 weeks before your ship date.

Which certifications are common for outerwear?

bluesign for technical fabrics and GRS for recycled content. Our certification guide explains what each one covers.

What must an outerwear tech pack include?

Shell, lining and interlining fabrics, fill type and weight, every trim (zips, snaps, cord stoppers), seam finishes and measurements taken over layers. Missing trims are the most common reason outerwear quotes change.

Sample and test
A sample round usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. Check fit over layers, pocket placement and how the fill sits.
